The company, which has operated for three decades in the country with only charter flights, will now offer an itinerary of services to fill a gap left in national transportation since the closing of Nature Air.
“We have noticed that there is a shortage of options in the offerings of flight itineraries, and that is the reason we have ventured into regular operations. As a result, we will contribute to the country’s tourism developments,” said Aerobell CEO, Marco Montealegre.
Aerobell Airlines will operate from the Tobias Bolaños International Airport in Pavas, San Jose.
In the first phase of the program, Aerobell will offer daily flights to seven destinations in Costa Rica, with the operation of two Cessna Grand Caravan aircrafts with a capacity of 12 passengers. By November, the airline will incorporate four Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircrafts, equipped with the latest aeronautic technology with which the fleet have a total of six units.
The first destinations will be Tortuguero, Tamarindo, Tambor, Quepos, Bahia Drake, La Fortuna, Arenal and Puerto Jimenez, Starting operation fares are around $45.00 for a one way ticket. For additional information of flight schedules visit www.aerobell.com or call phone number 4000-2030.
In the second phase of the program, Aerobell will offer other routes, such as Liberia, Golfito and Bocas del Toro in Panama.
“We want to bring developmental and economic benefits to the communities in every destination. Our vision is to offer a new, efficient and safe alternative to travel within the country,” Montealegre added.
As part of its strategy, Aerobell Airlines is eager to add standout values for international and national travelers as well as new options in the market.
