If it weren’t for Redbull, there wouldn’t have been a wedding on May 2 at the Tamarindo Diria Beach & Golf Resort.

That’s because model Paola Ramirez, a Miss Costa Rica finalist who has appeared in SoHo magazine and in the video for the group Kumbia All Starz, won a Formula One Redbull contest in 2007 and became a Redbull girl, who among other things, represented Costa Rica at the Grand Prix of Monaco.

During this contest, Hayes Wheelless, the Redbull Manager of Marketing for Central America, met Ramirez. Sparks flew.

Eventually having fell in love, the couple decided to get married.

So, in front of 90 guests at the Tamarindo Diria hotel gardens by the ocean, supplemented by hundreds of white orchids, the wedding was set.

First, Wheelless took his place at the altar, guided there by his mother and brother. Then two little girls walked strolled with the bride’s two French bulldogs. When the bride herself walked down the aisle, she was accompanied by her family including her father, mother and sister. The ceremony was presided over by Ramirez’s uncle, a lawyer.

At the reception afterwards, dancing with the bride and groom to the band Vino Tinto was famous motorsports competitor Travis Pastrana who has won championships and X Games gold medals in several events, including supercross, motocross, freestyle motocross and rally racing. .He appears on MTV's Nitro Circus in the United States.

As a matter of fact, MTV’s Nitro Circus had a full contingent down:  Also, kicking up their heels were wedding guests Andy Bell, a former freestyle motocross champ as well as Executive Producers  Jeremy (aka "Tenacious") Rawle and Gregg Godfrey.
